We Made It!

Well we made it and it was such a long move!!
Things are going great though. I can't believe that we both got jobs so fast I actually got mine first and it is a great job I work at the biggest Hospital in North Alabama and I got it like 4 days after we got here.
The kids love being here with Grandma and Grandpa along with everyone else (Great Grandma and Aunts). Thy are already rotten! I am going to try and keep posting but working full time is totally messing me up I have not worked in about 10 years so I am defiantly trying to get used to it. I will try to post again later.

Moving AGAIN!!!

Well we have made the decision to move AGAIN. This is going to be the 6th time in 4 years and I am sick of it (really). We are moving back to Alabama where all my family is so that the kids will have them around. At the moment we have no family close and I feel that kids need to be around some family. It just sucks bad because we are moving across country (like 850 miles).
Jake was not thrilled and Justin is over joyed cause he can see Grandma along with his great grandma and several Aunts.
Other than packing and moving things are about the same. We have all had a cold because the weather is warm then cold then colder it was like 6 degress this morning BRRRRRR!!! It will be nice to get to warmer weather.
I am going to try and keep posting during the next few months because my aunt is going to let me borrow her laptop so that I don't have to upack my computer cause we are going to stay with my Mom until we find a house better yet JOBS. Keep leaving comments it keeps me sane emailing and reading blog post (I don't get many).

Hamster Heaven

Well the circle of life ended last night for our 2 yo Hamzer the Hamster. She passed away about 11 pm. Me and my husband were with her till the end. Then we took her outside and buried her at the back of the garden. We thought it would be easier for my son to walk out and say good-bye rather than going through the whole process of burial he is very tender hearted.

Other than that things have been a total mess here My husband lost his job and they refused to pay him for the month of Dec. so that has left tons of problems for us. We are going to start calling a few lawyers on Monday to see if we can get the money that is owed to him. He worked for the whole month and they just thought that it was ok not to pay. That is just not fair!!!

Well I can hear the kids fighting upstairs so I will try to post later when they are sleeping that is the only peace that I get.

Well my spell checker is not working this a.m. so if you see words that are spelled wrong I am a terrible speller so forgive me.

JAILED AGAIN!!!!!

Ok I thought this was funny the first time so when my DH crawled into the dog crate I had to get more pictures to post. This time they had decided to "spend the night" (not really). I just thought that the look on their faces are so sweet.
I did lock them in for a minute or two but decided to let them out because I don't look good in stripes (jail for real).
I just wanted to put this up I hope that yall enjoy laughing at this to. I will be posting so pics of Jake soon.

UH OH not yet!!!!!

Well before I get to the interesting stuff I just want to say hi to all. It has been very busy these past couple of weeks. I was still sick and didn't know it until I got a terrible terrible headache so off to the doc I went and I had a sinus infection and didn't even know it. Tons of other stuff has happened but I just wanted to tell you about the incident that happened the other day and I almost died it was so funny. Well there are really 2 and I will think about posting the other it is kind of embarrassing for ME.

Last week I was getting Justin dressed and had just took off his footy jammies so he was laying on the couch while I put his socks on. Then he noticed that "it" was sticking up. He kept pushing "it" down so that it could pop back up after several times. I tried to divert his attention by asking him if he had to go potty (that is when it usually does it) but he just thought it was so funny in the end he did go potty and I managed to finish dressing him!

The next one happened over Christmas sometime. I had found that with my oldest son that it was just much easier to shower with him (at least until he started noticing the differences) so I continued this with Justin. I am sure that everyone that has small kids is aware of a show called Boo-Bahs.
I don't think that it is very educational but sometimes it entertains him if I have something to do that just can't wait. Anyway we are in the shower and he is playing in the bathtub in between getting washed all of a sudden he reached up and poked me in the boob and yelled Boo-bah. I almost died and decided at that point that he was to big to shower with Mommy anymore!

While we are talking about Justin I will tell you about this Kids fetish and yes I really do think that it is a fetish because it started when he was young 1 or so. He loves belly buttons and when I say this I mean that he will pull his shirt up and pull up the shirt of someone else and rub buttons with them (kind of like rubbing bellies). I have no idea where this came from but he is very, very fascinated and enjoys it. I was talking to my Mother the other day about it (she has been victim to this) because he starts pre-school in the fall and I was wondering if a 3 year old can be sued for sexual harassment??? He does this mostly with girls now (as he has gotten older) but I can just see him getting kicked out of pre-school for "rubbing bellies".

I will try to write again soon now that all the Holidays are over things are finally slowing back down.
I am also going to try to post new question so try to answer and please leave post I love to hear from people from everywhere!

The Great Pickle!

I did it. I am so happy! I made it through the Holidays sick. I felt terrible all week and then we went and watched the Pickle Drop in Dillsburg, PA . I must admit that it was very interesting and fun! Have any of you seen a Pickle drop on New year's eve?

I have to admit this was a first for me. I think that it looks like a giant zucchini or something pickle did not come to mind (well it did but only because I knew).

What interesting things did everyone do on New Year's eve?

Well I finally got over my cold (almost) and now my husband has it. I know how he feels it was awful you just feel blah and lay around. He even stayed home from work today and that is very unusual for him he is not the type of person that just stays home. I bet that it is going to go through all the kids again. The good thing is that we had flu shots (me and the kids DH tried to get one but they were out) so I don't think it was as bad for me and hopefully them.

Nothing new going on here just listening to the kids and one of Jake's friends run around like wild Indians upstairs and I am so tired. I had to be up really early (6:30am and I don't do mornings well at all) so I don't even feel like fussing at the kids for being crazy (usually that is me).

I am so ready for bed so I will try to write again soon.

Christmas and Venting about Nickelodeon

Well after the Christmas holiday I am just tired. I have caught Justin's cold and just feel Blah. I just wanted to vent a little bit on a couple of things after I tell you about the Kids Christmas. Jake got a Razor Dirt Bike (made for his age it is kind of like a power wheels for big kids) and i will add a picture of this later but he loves it. He was in and out all day yesterday riding and then charging it because the battery life is very short. Justin got a Ninja Power Wheels (4 wheeler) and Power Ranger snow boots (both of them got tons of other stuff to) that he wore all day while riding his Ninja. I thought it was funny ( we do not have any snow and it was almost 45 yesterday). See the picture

I think this will be a favorite toy for a while (snow boots to). I thought that I was going to have to let him sleep on it last night, we even had to bring it back into the house so that he could see it.

Well that is enough about our Christmas. I hope that everyone else had a great day as well. These days it is all about the kids anyway.

Now I have a few things to say about Nickelodeon...... what is up with trying to keep Jamie Lynn Spears on a kids network cause if no one noticed she is now an unmarried pregnant teen and NICK is thinking about doing a special ( www.msnbc.msn.cpm/id/22344557/ ) on her because she is like so many other kids that I know (yeah right). I DO NOT WANT NICK TO SEX EDUCATE MY KIDS. I feel that she needs to come off the air at least a kids network and no one needs to make any specials about it, even if we know teens that have made this mistake ( we all do) it is not the same, we are not RICH and can not HIRE PEOPLE to raise our kids we all do it the old fashion way and rough it out (Do not get me wrong I Love my kids they are my heart). Staying up all night, feeding, changing, crying when our kids are sick because we can't make it better and just that whole Mother thing that most rich pregnant teens know nothing about because someone else does it. And as for her mother writing a book about parenting HELLO!!!!! WHO IS SHE TO TRY AND TELL US HOW TO RAISE GOOD KIDS. Does anyone see a pattern with her two. Well this is totally my opinion however I do plan on sending Nick emails and calling to let them know that I am a very concerned parent and if I have to, I will stop my kids from watching!!!!!

Can you tell that this issue makes me mad!!! I will try to post again later and be a little more cheerful like I said I feel bad and just needed to fuss (and complain) about something. I could probably go on and on and on. But I will leave it at that for now.

No Room to MOVE!!!

I took this picture last night while I was cooking dinner. I had 2 of my 3 dogs blocking me in. All I did was turn around and looked down to take this picture. I had absolutely no room to move. You see Ember (red Doberman 1yo), and Poopie (cause he is the little s**t)and we think he is around 10 or so not really sure because we inherited him about 4 years ago. This is how I get to cook or do the dishes I can't even turn around with out tripping over a dog. My 5yo Dalmatian Lexie does not like to lay on the hard cold kitchen floor but I am sure that she was laying so that she could see me. I can't even go potty by myself I usually have the 2 big dogs and Justin trying to bother me. It is ashamed!!! ok let me see if I can get this picture added......





ok it worked I think that I am getting pretty good at this blog thing..... I just wish that I had more time to deal with it.



I am in terrible pain again with my back. I had some lower back problems before the car accident but the pain is almost unbearable now. I was telling my hubby how bad it was hurting last night and was in tears. That is awful and I still have all the Christmas stuff to do. I am not sure how I am going to manage it. I have even recruited my husband to wrap Christmas presents because I can't. I usually I wrap them all. They have me on extended release pain medicine and it is not working worth a flip he even up my dosage yesterday and it still did not help!!!



Well I am going to lay down for a little while to take some pressure off my back. I woke up in pain this morning and still have tons of stuff to do.

back to being crazy again

Well now it is that time of year where everyone gets crazy even the kids..... not sure why maybe just the thought of all those presents.

I have a plan we (me and hubby) are telling Justin that he has to leave Santa all his binkies so that he can "get big boy toys" for Christmas and so far he is playing along so we will see if it works.
I again am running around like crazy again I have so much to do like wrapping Christmas presents, finish shopping, help with the school Christmas party, have a MRI done (my back is still messed up from the accident), meet with a lawyer and I am sure there are some things that I forgot because my list is upstairs.

I still don't have my van back but I did take the Titan back for something more functional. However now I have a Dodge Magnum and these cars make me think of a hearse and this one just happens to be black with black tinted windows and it is driving me crazy (like I need any help these days).

Anyway I just wanted to post a little note so that everyone (at least the people that read) knows we are still alive. I hope that everyone is having fun planning for their holiday I think this year we are having steak, potatoes and cranberry sauce instead of a traditional Christmas dinner it is just the 4 of us anyway and that is what we like.

Sooo Busy

I have been so busy that I feel like I have been chasing my tail and I don't even have one. After having the accident I was in really bad shape my back was killing me. It still really hurts just not as bad as last week. Then I had to spend all last week working at Jake's School with a holiday workshop (kids shop for little gifts for parents, grandparents, friends or siblings. Well on top of being in pain I had to keep up with Justin at the school (NOT FUN!!!). Deal with getting my car dropped off and getting a rental. When I got the rental all that they had was a V8 Nissan Titan ok this truck is huge and it had no running boards (steps on the sides) this did not help my back any! They are nice trucks but I think that I will stick with my Toyota. Also My back is still killing me. I so wish that it never happened well I guess I am not the only person that says that after an accident. I may not get my somewhat new crashed van back until after Christmas. It did almost $5000 dollars in damage.

Then we had to be in Philly at 6:30 am (we had to leave at 4) because my son (Jake 9) had to have surgery on his left hand because of burn scars. He grabbed a hot iron when he was 17 months old and had some really bad scaring that had to be fixed. Everything went well but I feel so bad for him because he has a cast (well like a cast) from the tip of his fingers to almost his elbow and he has to stay that way until the 2nd of January. So during Christmas he is stuck in this cast thing that I can't take off. Great something else to worry about.

New Car

Well I finally got a new van 10/22/07, we have not even made the fist car payment yet and I will be da*m someone rear-ended me yesterday. So not only being in pain my new car is squished. That just ruined my whole day. I have whip lash and have to take my Hubby and 3yo to the doc to have them checked out. And I found out today that PA is a no fault state I just don't understand how you can be sitting at a stop sign get rear-ended and it is no ones fault. Does that sound strange to anyone else????
Well I have walk gently up the stairs and try to fight with Justin to put his clothes on all with out making my neck any worse......easy right.
I actually feel like I have been hit by a car.......literally......

Spell Checker

As I was typing away last night I realized that spell checker flags very common words as misspelled. Blog is one of them as much as people use blogs why, oh why does it still get flagged as wrong.
Well that was just a thought and I have to get ready to pick Jake up from Camp. I was less one child for the weekend now if I can just find someone to keep the other one I would have been doing good.
......I just realized that the blog spell checker does not flag it just email spell check. who knows.....

Jailed!!!

Well I have a few minutes to write this a.m. and I just have to share this picture. I will explain the picture if I can figure out how to upload it to this post. Ok let me try to figure it out.

OK it worked so let me explain.

My dear Hubby (yes that is him in the dog crate) was playing with Justin (n his green power ranger suit as usual) you know the normal stuff sword fighting, catch and then cops and robbers which is how he ended up in the hand cuffs (look close) and then Justin wanted to put him "in jail" which Hubby agreed to. So in the crate ( it is the crate for my doberman so it is very large) he went..... willingly. Justin locked him so I ran upstairs and grabbed the camera and he couldn't do anything because he was locked in (HA HA HA). The first thing that he said was don't put that on your blog. Well I just could not help it because it is to funny;-} . I am so glad that he plays with them I could have one of those hubbys that could careless that he has kids. Anyway I hope you guys found this as funny as I did and can't wait until he checks my blog again and sees that yes it did post it.

Well I hope that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving (for those of you that celebrate and if you don't let me know what you for holidays. I think that my favorite is Christmas. Not so much for me these days but just the look of joy and sheer happiness on the face of my kids even Jake still believes in Santa at least this year not so sure about next year and Justin as at the age where we are telling him about Santa so this will be a good year for him.

I was sitting around last night and just pondering different things as I watched ER (been watching that for many years same stuff just different cast) and realized that the year is almost over. I can not believe that the whole year is almost gone. Where did it go? Speaking of time and changes I absolutely hate this time it is dark at like 5 o'clock that drives me crazy it messes with your sleep schedule and well just everything.

Well this is it for time Justin realized that I was doing something and decided that it must end so I will try to post again tonight.

Just a little

I have been so busy with everything. I can not believe that I decided to start a blog right in the middle of the holidays. If everyone is like me you don't have time to go to the bathroom much less try to keep up with all the little stuff like laundry, cooking, reading email and keeping up your blog or reading some other ones.

I have so much to tell the people that read but it is going to have to wait until tomorrow because yet again it is almost midnight (at least where I am). I also have the craziest picture to share. but again that will have to wait until tomorrow.

Please keep reading and leaving post it is the only time that I sit down and take a break and I really enjoy hearing from everyone. Sooooo I will be back tomorrow........

Momma's gone

I was banned from the computer while my Mom was here because she said that it was rude. I guess she didn't realize that this is the way that I relax TV does nothing for me, I like to sit read the news and my email in peace after the kids have gone to bed.

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and happy family times.

I have many errands to run and I must go and get ready already running late. Just wanted to let everyone that reads that yes I am alive and doing well. I will write again tonight after the kids are in bed.

Injuries

I can't help myself I love doing this (blogging) it is sooo much fun.

Not much new this a.m. just wanted to leave something for those of you that read my blog.
It is so nice to have my Momma here she is giving me such a break. I am still in the house but she is totally entertaining Justin and that gives me some time. She does worry way to much he bumped his head this morning on 2 different occasions and trust me he does this ALL the time cause he climbs on everything anyway she almost stroked out and it was nothing major. He did cry a little but like I said he does this all the time. He is the wild child when he was 20 months old he fell and hit his head on a concrete step and had to have 12 stitches at the top of his left eyebrow and when he was about 14 months old he grabbed the heating element in the dishwasher and got 2nd degree burns. That was not something that I even thought about being a hazard. So Moms watch out for those dish washers injuries.

It's over

Well it is over Momma and my Step dad have arrived and the kids are loving it. I am so glad now we just have to maintain it, and that can be very challenging. We are going to be out and about a lot visiting... well sight seeing so maybe just maybe it will stay clean just a little.

I was watching my dear hubby poke and stir the fire in the fireplace and realized that even though he is not from the south he is defiantly a Redneck (again I am from Alabama so I have experience with this). As he was poking the fire with a curtain rod (yeap I said curtain rod one of those metal ones that extend) I just had to laugh and tell a "you might be a redneck joke" (Jeff Foxworthy is very famous for this) and he just replied that it is safer than the real poker because it does extend and save his hands from the fire, however I had to doctor him with solarcaine (a type of medicine used for bug bites, minor scrapes and burns) because he did have a large red burn. I also believe that Jake is going to be a redneck just a very smart one (you can be smart and still be a redneck again I have seen this happen just not often). More on this later.

Well as I said Momma is yelling that being on the computer with company is rude (I say this is yet to be determined) but I don't get to vote because she is Momma. I will try to write again tomorrow or so.

Almost here.....

Well the time has come and the cleaning journey is almost over (except the dishes in the sink). They will arrive in about 2 hours. I did all the stuff dusted, vacuumed, cleaned the bathroom (yuck, why can't boys hit the hole!!!), and swept the floor and you can't even tell because my adorable 3 year goes right behind me to mess it up. I can not believe that he drew on my loveseat with a sharpie he got the wall to but my magic eraser will save the day there, the loveseat however I have no idea what to do!

I am not sure how much that I will get to write over the next 8 days or so because my mother thinks it is sooo rude to check my email or anything with company even though she is just watching TV when I get to check it at night but whatever..

If I don't get to make anymore post until she leaves I hope that everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving and great naps (you just can't help it turkey does that to a person).
