Wow kind been gone for a while!!!

Well I guess that I have kind of let things go since I got onto Facebook. It is really fun and so easy to find people. I love that I can post right from my blackberry (not sure if I can do that here). Things are good here so much that I could write about but just really don't have time tonight or even in the near future because we are moving again yes you read that right! This is like the 5th or 6th time in like 5 years! I am so over it but this move is not so bad it is only 5 streets over not across the country! So I guess it is a little easier! Christmas, Apple Lane Farms

Justin's favorite new toy! Santa brought him this and he loves it!!! It is really quite zippy and he has even learned how to pop wheelies already (I think this has Emergency Room all over it.) Christmas was very good at our house this year Jake got that Wii that he has been wanting and JC got a new PS2 (his PS3 is broken and we gave away the other PS2) and I got a really cool digital picture frame. This is only a small list the boys are still opening packages!!!! I have decided that Christmas is NOT going to be like this next year The boys do not need anything and I want to them to know that Christmas means more than getting presents. So I guess we will see what happens next year.

I am sorry that I have not posted in a while but the holidays are such a rush between working, shopping, wrapping, shopping, more wrapping, cooking, and all the other stuff that has to be done I just totally loose track of everything.

By the way I got one of those precooked hams from Apple Lane Farms this year for Christmas dinner and it was AWESOME!!! however, we only got to eat a small amount because my stupid ass mutts took it right off my counter and ate the whole thing!!! Man was I mad..... they spent like 2 days outside in the rain!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

Lung Transplants..........I NEED HELP!!!!!

I am just sitting here thinking about one of our close friends Chuck Campbell his wife Vicki and 4 kids (3 still at home). They are in desperate need of everyone's help. He was diagnosed with COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) about 3 years ago and has gotten progressively worse. He has seen many specialist, had many scans, and the final results are not good. Chuck has been sent to a team of specialist at Temple University and the end result is that he needs a DOUBLE lung transplant. This is very, very expensive as you may imagine and insurance only covers a very small amount. The transplant team will not even touch him until he has raised about $500,000. This is where everyone comes in. They are in need of donations and any and everything will help. I am posting the link at the bottom of the page to his Temple fundraising web site and all donations are tax deductible and are greatly appreciated. Please help us save our good friend so that he can see his 4 kids grow up. I sent this from Jake's fall festival. Justin had both of his cheeks painted then had a fit for a tattoo (the removable kind) and he would have it no other way until he got it put right in the middle of his forehead. I swear this child has a stubborn streak a country mile wide (it is because he was born in Alabama).

I am just kind of hanging out and thought that I would blog a little...
Justin is still sick so we are starting our 2nd round of antibiotics tonight and hopefully this one is going to work. Why oh why do the doctors give out the crapy antibiotics first knowing that they are not going to work do they do that just so we have to pay 2 co pays or what!
Anyway besides all that JC is just getting better finally he was pretty sick last week to.

I am having a hard time trying to think of what to write about nothing exciting happens to me anymore just home, school, work, daycare and back home no time for anything fun.
We are trying to plan on going snow tubbing this winter I am sure that we are going to have to take a road trip for that because we have moved to far down south to get any snow;-( I am really going to miss it. I really did not like to play in it but I LOVED curling up on the couch with hot chocolate and a good book in front of the fire place. Now it is to dang hot for a fire!

I guess that I better get up and do some stuff so I will post again later

All is Sick!!!

Well it has been one of those weeks, everybody but Jake has been sick with JC being the worst. We both had bronchitis and Justin is just all snotty. Of course what does he do that drives me just nuts! He wipes his nose on his shirt sleeves even though we have tissue sitting on every table.
Things are going pretty good here. I really like my job (most of the time) and I made a new friend which is great because my best friend of 17 years has a crappy man that does not let her talk to any of her friends and her kid needs major discipline but that is a whole nother story. I really love her like a sister though.
It is really early I HATE TIME CHANGE!! I got up at 6:30 this morning UUGH!

I am really gonna miss this and because it is fall I am thinking about it even more. I guess we will just have to drive north a couple of hours so that we can go snow tubing it was awesome. This was a picture from January when we still lived in PA and this was just a little we had days where we got lots more!

Driving me CRAZY

OK...someone I know has been having a fit for me to get on myspace and so I gave in and now it is driving me crazy! I can't figure out how to do anything. I like my blog much better and I can post what I want when I want and with ease! Sorry girl you may just have to come over here and read my blog when you want to know what is going on. I will try to mess around with it a little more but it is just difficult! I am not that computer literate. I will post again this weekend when I am not so tired.

CRASH!!!!!

This was taken Sunday 9-28 in Birmingham, AL at Alabama Adventure. Jake is in the lead and Justin is about to crash cause he is looking at the floor. We had a great family day (I am glad we have not done anything like this all summer). We are even talking about going to visit My brother and sister - in - law (yeah I am talking about you Sarah) in FL this month or next. So Sarah you need to find some fun stuff to do down there!

I can NOT believe my luck Friday I stopped at the mall to order Jake's cookie cake ( I love these) I had just parked and got out of the car me and Justin were standing there waiting on Jake to get out and I seen my car roll forward. I was trying to figure out why when I realized that the people backing out across the street back right into my car!!! I have had such bad luck since I got this new van. SOOO I got all of there information and called the insurance company today and He has not reported it soooo I have to wait for the insurance company to get in touch with him and do all that stuff.....THEN on Saturday morning my mom come to pick me and Justin up to go to the store when she back out of my driveway she ran all over the car across the street. I will say that we have ask this man NOT to park his car right behind my driveway and we (me and JC) have almost hit this car several times. Anyway the cop did say that he was parked illegally so maybe momma will get lucky and not have to pay for anything. I guess that we will see.

I swear I am going to stop riding in cars I think I could ride horses or something and have better luck!

This is Jake in a tree. He was out playing with his friends and I sent him a text and ask what he was doing and this is the picture that I got back. He told me that well he was climbing trees and even sent me a picture just in case I didn't believe him. He has quite the sense of Humor ( he really is quick and funny).

This is Jake an Justin actually being nice to each other for a minute. These minutes are few and far between but when they happen they are sweet.

Easy like Sunday Morning......

Well for once we get to take it easy today we are just laying around the house chillin' which is great we have been so busy the past couple of months we need a day off. We postponed our trip to Alabama Adventure because Jake and Justin were feeling a little under the weather yesterday and last night so a day off for everyone is needed. It would be great if I could just lay on the couch all day but Justin will not let that happen so I am sitting here at the computer messing around and doing laundry (yeah).
Things are going great here I love my new job, Jake is doing well in school, and surprisingly so is Justin.
Anyway I am going to try and lay on the couch a bit and read my new book. It is the 3rd in the Eragon set. The book is sooo much better than the movie and the 2nd book was good so I got the new one last night and can't wait to start it. So that is what is on my table today trying to read and doing laundry (yeah). I will post again soon I usually have time in the afternoons to post at work because we are kind of slow (sometimes real slow). Talk to ya later.

Just working!

I am just sitting around here at work and thought that I would post a little. We went and got Jake his birthday present last night (one of many) but we took him and let him pick out a nice bike. His other one was getting to small. We are going to brave the weather this weekend and go to an amusement park on the other side of Birmingham it even has a water park. However it makes me mad that I can't ride anything because of my neck. I have a terrible headache right now. I just hope it is not like the fair last week I really had a bad headache then (almost migraine status!) anyway I was miserable.
Things are going good here Jake is making all A's as usual (that makes me so proud!!!) and Justin has not been kicked out of pre-school so that is great (his teacher said that he has been really good! I am not sure what she has done with my child but I wish that she would send that one home).
My mother fell like 2 weeks ago and broke her shoulder (like she needs anymore problems) so now she has to have therapy.
Gotta go I will write again later when I remember!!

SKUNKS ANYONE???

Of all the things in the world I would have never guessed that my 2 large dogs would get sprayed by a SKUNK! Why you may ask? Well because we live in the city, in a development where all the fences meet and did I mention that YES we live in the city! A large city! We lived on top of a mountain in the woods in Pennsylvania on 12 acres where my dogs just ran free all the time but now that they are city dogs they get sprayed by a skunk and it is terrible (believe me it really is terrible!). It was about 2:15a.m. Wednesday morning and I could not sleep so I got up, got a drink (just some juice) and then went into my fenced backyard to smoke and it happened. My Dalmatian charged it and the Doberman followed her. I thought it was a cat because it was dark and all I could see was the cute white fluffy parts and I knew that a cat could get away before they could get her so I was not worried. Then Lex (Dalmatian) ran over to me coughing, snotting, throwing up and stinking! I jumped up and ran into the house to tell my hubby and the nasty, nasty smell followed me. Hubby began gagging immediately (he even tried to sleep in the van for a couple of hours and that didn't work). It was horrible! Needless to say they had to stay outside the rest of the night and all the next day (cause I work full time days now). The poor things thought that they had died and gone to HELL!! My dogs are a little spoiled so they don't know how to lay anywhere but on the couch and on top of smelling like a rotten dead decaying animal they actually had to lay on the ground. Anyway, Skunks do not smell the same fresh as they do when you smell them on the side of the road. The worst part is you CAN NOT get rid of the smell. I have always heard that you should use tomato juice (or paste) but after some research online we found out it doesn't work that you should use baking soda and peroxide mixed with water. However this can cause bleaching of the fur so now I am going to have a red, bleached blonde, redneck Doberman! GREAT! JUST GREAT!
I have given them like 5 baths (outside of course) to get rid of the smell and guess what!! It still did not work! The smell is tolerable but you can defiantly still smell it.

So this is what I have been doing all week! The dogs are in the house but the are restricted to the kitchen cause I don't want the furniture to stink.
I have had a rough week and I will try and write again this weekend but I am so tired cause I have been really busy this week with the dogs and work and everything in between.

By the way Jake is turning 10 tomorrow (the 6th) and I just can't believe that my little baby is in double digits now!

It Happened AGAIN

Me and my Mom were trying to do a good deed. My stepsister did not have a birthday party for her 6 going on 7 year old daughter but had a huge party for her 3yo girl a few weeks ago. No one likes to be around the 7 yo because she is very over weight. Anyway me and my mom felt really bad for her and were having her a little party at my house with pizza, cake, some presents and swimming. We (me and mom) had to go and pick up the pizza we got about 1 1/2 miles from the house at a stop sign! and got rear ended AGAIN. This is the second time in 8 months for me. And the crazy lady hit us once and then hit us again a few seconds later (I had time to say "What the HELL" and she hit us again). At least this is NOT a no fault state (like Pennsylvania) she will be responsible for everything. Needless to say I fell like I have been hit by a truck again and the lower part of my tummy is killing me from the seat belt and I am not even going to get in to trying to tell ya how my back feels!!! I guess that is what we get for trying to do something nice!

To top all that off the 7yo was really RUDE an ungrateful!!! She complained about all the presents she got and cause we got the wrong kind of cake (white not chocolate) I was quick to tell her that was not very nice. After all that we will not be doing that again.

I need to go and lay down cause I feel awful I will try to post again later.

New Glasses

I am trying to find Jake new glasses and it is a pain in the booty..... we are trying to get 2 pair in case one breaks cause he needs them all the time he can't see. Anyway it is so hard to find a good deal and someone that takes our insurance. Why do things have to be so hard!!!

I got so tired of the dark background so I made a few changes. I hope I like this better if not I will play around again. I am not good enough for all that fancy stuff but this is better I think!

Dead End

I am at a dead end with my mother and have no idea what to do! I love my mom very much (like everybody else) but can't get her to help herself, she has many medical problems and I understand that but she does nothing to help. She is on insulin and about 20 other meds and weighs about 125lbs over weight yet she still drinks tons of sweet tea (we CAN NOT even ride down the road without having to stop and get one), eats sweets (any and everything) and then gets mad or upset when I point it out and try to help. We (DH and kids) walk every night and we finally got her to join in we started her out small and was gradually moving it up further and further and that lasted about 2 weeks. It really upsets me that she does not seem to care and just sits in her recliner ALL the time (like she is afraid it will get cold (yeah the chair) I mean she does absolutely nothing). I hate to give up on her and let her die young but I am at a dead end. Please if anyone has advice on this key me in!

On a happy note things are going well around here. School starts back next week (on the 6th way to early if you ask me) and Justin starts preschool on the 19th. I am not going to know what to do with myself having time with NO kids!

I really miss hearing from the few that actually read my blog and left post maybe it is because of our situation and I did not post for awhile but I am back and will post often, like I said I want have anything to do all by myself.

I am so proud of ME!!!! I have lost almost 40lbs!!!! I still pretty much eat what I want only less of it. I just walk every night sometimes only a few blocks and sometimes 2 or 3 miles (we walked a long way tonight). I am so HAPPY I have dropped about 3 pant sizes. I haven't been this small in years!!! I still have about 20-30lbs to go and then I get to go buy a new wardrobe.

Bedtime for the kids so I will post again soon.

Wellllll......and peeing in the park

OK well we still have the binkies (unfortunately). I feel terrible taking them (yes I said them he has to have 2! one to suck on and one to sniff! I am not sure why he sniffs the binkies but he does and he loves it). I know that he will hate me forever if I take them. I can see him cutting the heads off all his toys and trying to torture small animals. Just kidding but I do think that he will be scared for life. I am still VERY open to ideas!



Well things have been going pretty well here, except for a few things here and there as usual. We have started walking every night and it is nice quite family time with NO TV or phones and we are losing weight. I am really happy about that! We finally got my Mom who has many health problems out of her recliner to walk with us. I am so PROUD of her! We started her out small and are moving up the distance every week or so. We usually walk 2 miles or so.



I am not sure what to even write about I guess that I will tell you about the life of my 3 year old. We took him to a water park last week that was kind of big as we were walking around we noticed that he had fallen behind so we turned around and there he was taking a leak right in the middle of this water park...... well he could not stop right in midstream so we had to let him finish. This is what happens if you let them pee anywhere when you are trying to potty train (we did live on a mountain). That is really embarrassing. Then this morning I got in the car to leave and backed right over his bike man I was ticked it scratched my van (the new one that I got in Oct that got hit before my first payment) and bent his bike of course grandma told him that she would buy him a new even though he didn't put it away like he was told. I think that I need to start writing down all the funny stuff that he does because I can't remember when I sit down to write about it.



Justin also LOVES motorcycles it is kind of funny because every time we see the one that are built for speed he calls them crotch rockets and gets so excited. My husband has a small one that he takes Justin for rides on and you almost can't get him off. He sits on it and knows how to insert the key, start it and rev the engine. He can also use the blinkers and lights and as soon as he can reach the clutch I bet he is going to try and take it for a joy ride!

End of the binkie (MAYBE)

I am trying to decide how to take Justin's binkie. Can anyone give me some input on the best way to do this. My husband and I are at odds about how it should be done. He wants to do it slowly ( a little at a time) and I want to just take them all at once (throw them in the trash and that is that). I really don't want to traumatize him for life but he is going to be 4 in November.

So please give me some ideas.

Chill'n out in the pool

Today is a beautiful hot Monday morning in Alabama. It was so nice that the boys started beating on me to let them in the pool around 8 a.m. I did manage to hold them off until about 10 and stayed in till Noon. I took the time to play some video games. I don't play very often so when I get the chance and I am in the mood I enjoy it. I have been hooked on the Pirates of the Caribbean game. I beat it a while back and got in the mood again recently to play so it was nice to have a little free time.

This is not a very good picture because I took it with my cell phone but it is ok. This is a small pool 8 feet by 30 inches deep but it is big enough for them to cool off and have a little FUN and stay out of my hair for a while (or at least until they start fighting over toys and I am not sure why because we have 2 of all the pool toys just different colors).

Well It is Justin's nap time and trust me he REALLY gets nasty so I will try and write again later tonight.

We Are Alive!!! and well

Well I just wanted to make a quick post to let everyone know that we are still alive! We finally moved out of my mother's house and while we really appreciate her letting us stay there it was HELL.... I really believe what they say about putting 2 families in the same house now that YOU CAN'T! I just wanted to make a quick post tonight but I promise that I will post again tomorrow and tell you what has happened since the last time I posted. I hope that I still have the few readers that checked in it would be great to hear from yall again.

We Made It!

Well we made it and it was such a long move!!
Things are going great though. I can't believe that we both got jobs so fast I actually got mine first and it is a great job I work at the biggest Hospital in North Alabama and I got it like 4 days after we got here.
The kids love being here with Grandma and Grandpa along with everyone else (Great Grandma and Aunts). Thy are already rotten! I am going to try and keep posting but working full time is totally messing me up I have not worked in about 10 years so I am defiantly trying to get used to it. I will try to post again later.

Moving AGAIN!!!

Well we have made the decision to move AGAIN. This is going to be the 6th time in 4 years and I am sick of it (really). We are moving back to Alabama where all my family is so that the kids will have them around. At the moment we have no family close and I feel that kids need to be around some family. It just sucks bad because we are moving across country (like 850 miles).
Jake was not thrilled and Justin is over joyed cause he can see Grandma along with his great grandma and several Aunts.
Other than packing and moving things are about the same. We have all had a cold because the weather is warm then cold then colder it was like 6 degress this morning BRRRRRR!!! It will be nice to get to warmer weather.
I am going to try and keep posting during the next few months because my aunt is going to let me borrow her laptop so that I don't have to upack my computer cause we are going to stay with my Mom until we find a house better yet JOBS. Keep leaving comments it keeps me sane emailing and reading blog post (I don't get many).

Hamster Heaven

Well the circle of life ended last night for our 2 yo Hamzer the Hamster. She passed away about 11 pm. Me and my husband were with her till the end. Then we took her outside and buried her at the back of the garden. We thought it would be easier for my son to walk out and say good-bye rather than going through the whole process of burial he is very tender hearted.

Other than that things have been a total mess here My husband lost his job and they refused to pay him for the month of Dec. so that has left tons of problems for us. We are going to start calling a few lawyers on Monday to see if we can get the money that is owed to him. He worked for the whole month and they just thought that it was ok not to pay. That is just not fair!!!

Well I can hear the kids fighting upstairs so I will try to post later when they are sleeping that is the only peace that I get.

Well my spell checker is not working this a.m. so if you see words that are spelled wrong I am a terrible speller so forgive me.

JAILED AGAIN!!!!!

Ok I thought this was funny the first time so when my DH crawled into the dog crate I had to get more pictures to post. This time they had decided to "spend the night" (not really). I just thought that the look on their faces are so sweet.
I did lock them in for a minute or two but decided to let them out because I don't look good in stripes (jail for real).

UH OH not yet!!!!!

Well before I get to the interesting stuff I just want to say hi to all. It has been very busy these past couple of weeks. I was still sick and didn't know it until I got a terrible terrible headache so off to the doc I went and I had a sinus infection and didn't even know it. Tons of other stuff has happened but I just wanted to tell you about the incident that happened the other day and I almost died it was so funny. Well there are really 2 and I will think about posting the other it is kind of embarrassing for ME.

Last week I was getting Justin dressed and had just took off his footy jammies so he was laying on the couch while I put his socks on. Then he noticed that "it" was sticking up. He kept pushing "it" down so that it could pop back up after several times. I tried to divert his attention by asking him if he had to go potty (that is when it usually does it) but he just thought it was so funny in the end he did go potty and I managed to finish dressing him!

The next one happened over Christmas sometime. I had found that with my oldest son that it was just much easier to shower with him (at least until he started noticing the differences) so I continued this with Justin. I am sure that everyone that has small kids is aware of a show called Boo-Bahs.
I don't think that it is very educational but sometimes it entertains him if I have something to do that just can't wait. Anyway we are in the shower and he is playing in the bathtub in between getting washed all of a sudden he reached up and poked me in the boob and yelled Boo-bah. I almost died and decided at that point that he was to big to shower with Mommy anymore!

While we are talking about Justin I will tell you about this Kids fetish and yes I really do think that it is a fetish because it started when he was young 1 or so. He loves belly buttons and when I say this I mean that he will pull his shirt up and pull up the shirt of someone else and rub buttons with them (kind of like rubbing bellies). I have no idea where this came from but he is very, very fascinated and enjoys it. I was talking to my Mother the other day about it (she has been victim to this) because he starts pre-school in the fall and I was wondering if a 3 year old can be sued for sexual harassment??? He does this mostly with girls now (as he has gotten older) but I can just see him getting kicked out of pre-school for "rubbing bellies".

I will try to write again soon now that all the Holidays are over things are finally slowing back down.

The Great Pickle!

I did it. I am so happy! I made it through the Holidays sick. I felt terrible all week and then we went and watched the Pickle Drop in Dillsburg, PA . I must admit that it was very interesting and fun! Have any of you seen a Pickle drop on New year's eve?

I have to admit this was a first for me. I think that it looks like a giant zucchini or something pickle did not come to mind (well it did but only because I knew).

What interesting things did everyone do on New Year's eve?

Well I finally got over my cold (almost) and now my husband has it. I know how he feels it was awful you just feel blah and lay around. He even stayed home from work today and that is very unusual for him he is not the type of person that just stays home. I bet that it is going to go through all the kids again. The good thing is that we had flu shots (me and the kids DH tried to get one but they were out) so I don't think it was as bad for me and hopefully them.

Nothing new going on here just listening to the kids and one of Jake's friends run around like wild Indians upstairs and I am so tired. I had to be up really early (6:30am and I don't do mornings well at all) so I don't even feel like fussing at the kids for being crazy (usually that is me).

I am so ready for bed so I will try to write again soon.

Christmas and Venting about Nickelodeon

Well after the Christmas holiday I am just tired. I have caught Justin's cold and just feel Blah. I just wanted to vent a little bit on a couple of things after I tell you about the Kids Christmas. Jake got a Razor Dirt Bike (made for his age it is kind of like a power wheels for big kids) and i will add a picture of this later but he loves it. He was in and out all day yesterday riding and then charging it because the battery life is very short. Justin got a Ninja Power Wheels (4 wheeler) and Power Ranger snow boots (both of them got tons of other stuff to) that he wore all day while riding his Ninja. I think this will be a favorite toy for a while (snow boots to). I thought that I was going to have to let him sleep on it last night, we even had to bring it back into the house so that he could see it.

Well that is enough about our Christmas. I hope that everyone else had a great day as well. These days it is all about the kids anyway.

OK.....

Now I have a few things to say about Nickelodeon...... what is up with trying to keep Jamie Lynn Spears on a kids network cause if no one noticed she is now an unmarried pregnant teen and NICK is thinking about doing a special ( www.msnbc.msn.cpm/id/22344557/ ) on her because she is like so many other kids that I know (yeah right). I DO NOT WANT NICK TO SEX EDUCATE MY KIDS. I feel that she needs to come off the air at least a kids network and no one needs to make any specials about it, even if we know teens that have made this mistake ( we all do) it is not the same, we are not RICH and can not HIRE PEOPLE to raise our kids we all do it the old fashion way and rough it out (Do not get me wrong I Love my kids they are my heart). Staying up all night, feeding, changing, crying when our kids are sick because we can't make it better and just that whole Mother thing that most rich pregnant teens know nothing about because someone else does it. And as for her mother writing a book about parenting HELLO!!!!! WHO IS SHE TO TRY AND TELL US HOW TO RAISE GOOD KIDS. Does anyone see a pattern with her two. Well this is totally my opinion however I do plan on sending Nick emails and calling to let them know that I am a very concerned parent and if I have to, I will stop my kids from watching!!!!!

Can you tell that this issue makes me mad!!! I will try to post again later and be a little more cheerful like I said I feel bad and just needed to fuss (and complain) about something. I could probably go on and on and on. But I will leave it at that for now.
